Use and comfort

A 2.8 stroke suited to both shading and lining; compatible with universal cartridges. BIOTEK is an Italian maker of permanent make-up pigments and machines.

Stroke and techniques

A short stroke (up to 2.8 mm) keeps the needle movement gentle: pigment goes in as a thin layer with less trauma. The machine works as a shader — powder brows, soft shading, aquarelle lips and thin or mature skin. For dense outlines it is less suited.

Needle protrusion (depth) is set manually on the machine or cartridge for the area and skin type; the manufacturer does not specify it.
